Launching online first Gujarati Movie “Swagatam” on ShemarooMe 

Urban Gujarati movies and Gujarati OTT platform are one of the most happening things that not only youth of Gujarat has enjoyed but delighted by people of every age category. Particularly in the situation of this lockdown and Covid-19 restrictions, where theatres are not operational, OTT platforms have played a major role in entertaining people in last one and half year. There are many Gujarati movies, web series, infotainment programs are set to release on Gujarati OTT platform in near future.

One such eagerly awaited movie which is releasing on 2oth of May, 2021 is Malhar Thakar starrer Swagatam. The trailer of the Gujarati Movie Swagatam was launched on YouTube on 8th of May and got excellent response. In a very few days it crosses 1 Lakh views on YouTube. Also the trailer is one of the unique most that we have seen so far in Gujarati film industry and specially Urban Gujarati Movie release.

Considering the current situation of pandemic, the trailer of the Gujarati movie Swagatam was prepared with all public service announcements and dialogue that motivates audiences to wear a mask and keep a safe distance. It is all about maintaining a Covid-19 Appropriate Guidelines. Also the title of trailer is given like “World’s Safest Trailer – No Mask, No Swagatam”. The trailer also gives message about the importance of vaccination and stay home; stay safe message.

The Gujarati Movie Swagatam is all set to its digital release on 20th May, 2021 on ShemarooMee OTT platform. It will be a digital release of Gujarati movie Swagatam before its actual release on theatre.

The movie is directed by Neeraj Joshi and Produced by Bharat Sevak. Neeraj Joshi has also directed movies starring Malhar Thakar like Cash On Delivery and Sharato Lagu.
