The Gujarati movie Bey Yaar plays around two childhood friends Chako and Tino. Chako’s character is played by Divyang Thakkar while Tino is played by Pratik Gandhi. Both aspired to become rich by investing in real estate business. And they found one investment scheme at the Nal Sarovar location near Ahmedabad. They have been falsely promised by Godman to get triple the profit through this investment. However, the Godman turns out to be a fraud and caught up by police. Then comes the second plot of this movie Bey Yaar which includes Jeetubhai, a character played by Darshan Jariwala who runs a local tea stall in the city area and father of Chako. Jeetubhai seems to be a close friend of great artist MF Hassan, (character motivated by MF Hussain) and Hassan gifted him a painting which he showcased at his tea stall. This brings a twist as Tino comes up with an idea of replacing the original costly painting with a duplicate one and mortgage original for quick cash. Chako initially hesitant but agreed later on and with the help of friend Uday they replace the original painting.
They mortgage the painting to local art dealer YB Gandhi which turns out to be a fraud. After few days he called Chako that the painting is not original and someone also tries to sell the same to another art dealer.
